I love basketball because it brings me real joy and helps me clear my mind. On the court, I feel free. People often say I have the potential to be great. I started playing volleyball four months ago and quickly grew to love it. My teammates and coaches push me to improve. Volleyball brings out the best in me, and the more I play, the more I want to get better. Both sports keep me focused and motivated.
What inspires me is my mom, Kobe, and LeBron. My mom inspires me through her hard work and sacrifices to keep everything together. Kobe motivates me with his “don’t give up” mentality, playing through injuries and leading his team. LeBron is my favorite of all time—watching him play and seeing the love he gets pushes me to be great just like him.
Seeing his journey has been amazing. He started playing basketball at 9 or 10 years old because his friend needed one more player. From that moment, he began to grow into the game and truly fell in love with it. The growth was real then, and it still is now. I’m so proud of my son!
