Asher enjoys the leadership aspect of sports. He enjoys the ability to guide, inspire and motivate his teammates. He enjoys being an example through demonstrating strong qualities that will translate on and off field. He is able to analyze his teammates and assess their strengths and weaknesses in order to assist them in developing their collective skill sets to reach their common goal to improve and win. Asher also loves his ability to easily communicate and relate to his teammates.
His Parents inspire him on and off the field. His Dad has instilled in him the power of communication and interaction and it has benefited him with developing trusting relationships with his Coaches and teammates. His Mothers’ passion and deep love for sports has allowed his to gain and implement knowledge from past players and classic games and sports moments. Asher notes that his Parents encouragement and endless conversations about vast topics helps him with developing a thirst for knowledge
The Championship Flag Football game Fall 2024’ was one moment of his athletic journey that made me the proudest because he lead with great integrity and discipline even through some tough contact. He remained his composure and displayed great tenacity. He encouraged his team to focus on each play and work together to strategically and successfully gain yards and complete plays. I was so inspired and proud to see Asher incorporate all things academically, spiritually and athletically to win.
