What Asher loves most about playing sports is the competition, the energy, and the friendships he builds along the way. He thrives on being part of a team, pushing himself to improve, and learning something new every time he plays. Whether he’s breaking away for a touchdown, making a big stop on defense, or hitting a game-winning shot, he’s always having fun. Most of all, Asher loves encouraging his teammates, celebrating their wins, and being a leader who brings positive energy to every game.
Asher is inspired most by his father, who coaches him and cheers him on at every game and practice. His dad teaches him the importance of hard work, kindness, and perseverance both on and off the field. Asher also looks up to athletes who show great sportsmanship and lead by example, reminding him that winning is about more than just the score. His father’s support motivates him to be a positive role model for teammates and friends, pushing him to grow as both a player and a person.
As a parent, the moments that make me proudest are when Asher’s dedication and passion truly shine. Winning the 2024 Super Bowl with his football team was incredible. Even more impressive is how he excels in multiple sports. On a different weekend, he played AAU basketball and lacrosse tournaments back-to-back, helping his lacrosse team win 4-1 and then leading his basketball team to a state championship, earning Player of the Game. Watching him balance it all with joy fills me with pride.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
