Renata Fast is a professional ice hockey player who inspires Ashleigh to play hockey. Renata plays defence for the Toronto Sceptres of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She wants to succeed in hockey just like her. Ashleigh's dream and goal is to be part of Team Canada and also the PWHL.
She is very determined and eager to accomplish her dreams. She applied for a Hockey program down south, got selected and moved to Saskatchewan from Nunavut. The school where she comes from is not challenging enough and Nunavut doesn't have a hockey program for her to develop advanced skills. I'm very proud that she made this step to work for her future.
