Receive Text UpdatesAshton truly enjoys going one on one in wrestling! There is no one to blame. It's just you and them. The hard work you put in gets you onto that podium. Baseball - Takes charge of the game by wanting to be on that mound. If he can't be there he will play anywhere on the field that is needed. Constant work with a pitching machine and tee for batting. Football - Starting middle linebacker the second he started. The team only allowed two touchdowns the whole season last year.
Ashton has a self determination to be the best at whatever sport he plays. We have seen laps around our couch. Push ups in the living room. Pull ups on a support beam in the basement. Can't really say there is an athlete or person out there that has inspired him. I would like to think that his father has but he would never admit that. At least not at this time.
Ashton is proud he made it to the Wisconsin State Wrestling Championships in only his 2nd year wrestling. His father has never wrestled so all the training was on his shoulders. Was allowed to move from beginner to advanced his first year. His second year he continued to go to beginner because a friend signed up and it was his first year. He trained beginner and advanced back to back. He also would catch a ride to train with a neighboring club if there wasn't overlap.
