A’ja Wilson is the epitome of perseverance & excellence. At every turn, she applies herself to not only be the best, but to make her teammates the best as well. She strives to follow in her footsteps one day to be a model for other girls.
As a varsity freshman last year, at a new school, new coaching staff & new team, Aubrey obtained a national ranking for blocks towards the end of the season. There were tons of obstacles in her way, but she maintained an acute focus in the classroom & studied the game more and more to help her team make it to the state semifinals.
