Audrey loves the discipline, the closeness, being apart of a team. Through she couldn’t compete last season her coaches changed part of their music to “difa” do it for Audrey. They are her family, her happy place & safe place in the midst of our nightmare, her gym fam are truly amazing humans who love her with all their hearts. This sport gives her hope, gives her desire to be better, she knows what she missed out on not being on the mat last season and she’s using it to push her now.
Her team mates, specifically her best friends. they even go to appointments with her. Despite her ability to be on the mat her mama made sure she made it to practice and comps. Jared Riley and Auggie the coach y'all allowed her to be during the worst season of her little life. The other mamas who love her LIKE THEIR OWN! Cheer is her family, and her gym is who inspires her to give it another shot. Cheer isnot who she is but its a huge part of her. Audrey is so determined, she's the inspiration.
11/5/24 Seeing Audrey stand with Auggie, telling her team mates herself that she had a brain tumor and won’t be able to compete with them through out the season. I will never forget that night. the entire gym felt the heaviness. Her desire to be at the comps, & practice made me proud! watching her cheer for them. SHE is the ultimate cheerleader. This year that will change, I can't wait to see her on the mat again this winter!
