Taekwondo gives Aurora the chance to experience a never ending growth potential. Every time she learns something she is able to harness it to become even better. Not only as an athlete but as a person in her daily life. Taekwondo is a martial art, a life style. A way of being. She embraces that. Sharing her love of the sport with others around her!
Aurora is inspired by her parents whom get involved and help in so many things, including Taekwondo. Stepping up to coach and support her along the way. Aurora is also inspired by her Masters (Jeong and Jo) who give everything that can to every level of learner. Showing that we all start somewhere and should respect everyone from beginners to experts.
Aurora obtaining Grand Champion at AAU Taekwondo Nationals. Not only once, but twice! The second time is especially special because she worked so hard and we were unsure if the 1st time was just luck, but nope, she was able to obtain her goal after a year of dedicated hard work. It was impressive to see the massive growth she had over the time and sharing her joy in the moment of winning 5 golds, 2 silvers, and 1 bronze at nationals. Wow! True Champion!
