Austin loves the challenges sports bring him and advancing his skills. He loves playing against older more skilled players to learn and passing on that knowledge to the kids younger than him. Austin gives it his all when playing, on or off the courts and fields.
Austin has been inspired by so many but there are 2 people in his life that have really driven his love for sports and that would be his aunt and uncle. He has played with his uncle outside of school dang near every year since Austin was about 5 years. Austin has also gotten to grow up watching his aunt dominate the court in all her sports she’s played. So, naturally, he had to make sure he could keep up with her game.
From the first time he picked up a basketball at age 2, to the very first game played on the court and football field I have several memories I could choose from but the one that make me most proud is when Austin was playing against a team that wasn’t as skilled. While his teammates got cocky and un-sportsmanlike Austin stayed humble and encouraged his team to do the same. It is easy to get caught up in the heat of the moment but Austin kept his head in the game and eyes on the prize.
