Ava is the most passionate 8 year old when it comes to gymnastics.She practices year round at her gym,home and even flipping through Target!

She loves practicing new skills and the accomplishment of finally getting it. Her gym lets them “Ring the Bell” when they achieve a new skill and she gets so excited when she’s able to ring it. Ava is always honing her skills and feels so much pride in herself and loves to show off what she’s learned.
She is most inspired by her coaches and teammates. They always build each other up and cheer for each other. Ava also has a solid support system with her family who always shows up and no one claps louder for her than her two older sisters!
The most proud we’ve felt would be her first ever competition. It was in Atlantic City, NJ and Ava was so nervous. She didn’t know what to expect and neither did we but the second she stepped on the mat we knew she was ready. She locked in the entire competition and was flawless at each event. She ended up medaling at every event and ended up All Around Champion. Ava has brought that same energy to every competition going forward.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
