Ava loves playing softball because she’s passionate about the game itself—but it’s also so much more than that. She enjoys meeting new people, traveling to new places, and cherishes the friendships and memories that come with every tournament and team experience.
Ava has been greatly influenced by her older sister Amber, who inspired her from a young age, as well as by the guidance and support of Coach Rachel Coleman, Coach Rob Crews, and Coach Anthony Falciglia, all of whom have played a key role in shaping her development on and off the field.
Last spring Ava suffered a PCL injury to her left knee. Instead of opting for immediate surgery, Ava made the decision to push through and play the summer with her team. Ava’s contributions go far beyond her stats. Her grit and determination inspire her teammates to push themselves to new heights She is a true leader on and off the field always putting her team first. Her positive attitude and work ethic are contagious creating a winning culture within the team.
