Thank you for generously supporting Ava in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
Ava enjoys the game and each team that brings their own challenges. She loves her coaches and the girls we play with. Our parents are supportive and mothers to all the girls. The unity and learning something new very day.
Ava loves and prays and seeks Jesus on as many issues as possible. She tried to walk in love. The world is not perfect and neither is she. She is inspired by Haley Livengood, her middle school softball coach. Haley introduced Ava to the game and for that she’s is forever grateful. Ava thrived under Haley’s coaching and enjoys the game. Haley still plays to this day and she’s a role model for young girls playing softball.
Ava decided to try out for Steel City Athletics and some girls she goes to school with decided to try out as well. Ava was the only girl to make the team from that group and the decision to join Steel City Athletics (Street) wasn't popular. Ava has no regrets. She is a leader, not a follower. Ava is an exceptional young lady on and off the field. She paves her own way and stands for what’s right. Whether or not she wins this award, I’m honored and beyond proud of Ava.
