Ava’s love for running & how free she feels when she achieves another PR. As Ava says her only competition is against the clock! Ava loves making lasting friendships with many she meets along this journey! Some days are hard but she fights another day so children whom looks like her, see themselves in her & say no matter what I can do that too! not about what you can do but what you leave behind & the mark you leave on people hearts! & that is whom Ava Dior is! The kindest soul you’ll ever meet!
Ava is inspired by her mom whom always tells her to keep the faith, never give up, try your hardest, keep going & GOD will do the rest! Ava is inspired by Beyoncé- The love runs deep, just know that! (she said don’t leave out bey😊) Ava is inspired by her coaches who inspires her to keep pushing hard on hard practice days! Ava is also inspired by Athing Mu, Sanya Richards-Ross, Usain Bolt, Tommie Smith, Sha'Carri Richardson, Noah Lyles, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Quincy Wilson to name a few!
The proudest moment(s) is when at the end of the day on hard meet days!! when it’s all said & done Ava left it all on the track, she’ll look at me & say Mom God has the last say so & I did my best and I pray I inspired someone today to not give up! Ava’s integrity, kindness & light covers all multitudes & I’m so proud of whom she’s becoming.. at just 12 years old Ava inspires me daily & that’s a God given gift all by itself!!!
