Ava loves the thrill of competition, enjoys running alongside her friends and teammates, and takes pride in being the best in her events. She loves earning medals and receiving recognition for her hard work.
Ava draws inspiration from her favorite athletes - Gabby Thomas, Shacarri Richardson, Melissa Jefferson, Noah Lyles and Simone Biles. She is also inspired by her father, a former track athlete himself, who now helps coach her team. He support her through every win and loss, while instilling the core values of perseverance and determination.
One of my proudest moments was when Ava qualified for the Junior Olympics at just seven years old and advanced to the semifinals—all while competing under the pressure of a nationally televised event.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
