Receive Text UpdatesI love that I can make a lot of friends and that my coaches understand me for me and not for who they want me to be.
When it comes to hockey I’m inspired most by my older brother Aiden & his best friend Andrew. Their dedication and love for the sport made being a hockey player an easy decision for me. When it comes to cheerleading I’m most inspired by an old teammate Maggie W and my cheer friend Lennyn. When I think about the cheerleader I hope to become it’s everything they are.
There isn’t one moment it’s every moment. I’m most proud of her confidence that she has every time she competes or plays a game. Avaiah is one of the few girls left playing in our co-ed hockey association. Every second year she’s the only girl on her team and usually there is under 5 girls in the whole league. Watching her give it her all every time she steps on the ice regardless of being the only girl makes me so proud. Her confidence, energy and facials every time she cheers is amazing.
