What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Aven has a true passion for sports—not just for the game, but for the opportunity to positively impact those around him. He thrives in team environments, where his energy, encouragement, and leadership help others grow and reach their full potential. On and off the court, Aven leads by example—demonstrating elite leadership qualities, a strong sense of sportsmanship, and respect for both his teammates and opponents, including referees. He plays with purpose and character!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Aven draws his greatest inspiration from Steph Curry—not just for his talent on the court, but for the way he boldly lives out his faith. As a Christian, Aven admires how Steph openly honors God through his platform, and that example deeply motivates him both in sports and in life. Aven strives to reflect those same values, serving as a leader at our church’s Vacation Bible School and working to be a positive example in his community. Like Steph, Aven believes greatness comes from believing.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

There are countless moments that make me proud of Aven, but what stands out the most is his resilience. As part of a military family, Aven has moved multiple times each move bringing the challenge of leaving behind friends and starting over in a new environment. Despite these obstacles, he has always faced change with courage and determination. He always finds a way to stay humble and positive anywhere he goes!
