You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
He loves the individual accountability of wrestling. He loves the mental toughness that it takes to step out on the mat, win or lose. The physicality and mental aspect of wrestling has combined to make it his passion. He also loves track for the some of the same reasons. He’s always working to be better than he was the day before.
He says it’s his youth coach Kevin. He’s a very good coach that has always pushed him to be better. Sometimes that’s made him mad and uncomfortable but he appreciates it now.
I loved watching him win youth states. It was his third year. He’d never made it to day two and he ended up working hard and going in and killing it. But I’m most proud every time I see him show sportsmanship after a loss.
