You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
This kid eats, sleeps and breaths football and basketball. I think it’s the challenge that he likes the most. He’s always pushing himself to be better. He’s in the gym every morning lifting and then he has open gym for basketball and then 7on7’s in the evening for football. All year round he’s trying to be the best at everything he does. He also holds a 3.7gpa so it’s not just sports that he excels in.
There are so many people that inspire him. For sure all his favorite pro’s but also all his team mates. Every time one of his team mates does good it makes him want to do good. He sees the hard work that we put in at our jobs and he understands that without that dedication he won’t succeed. I think he gathers a little inspiration from everyone he knows.
There are so many! He won the turkey bowl in Tjfl (that’s our youth football program here) his second year playing tackle football. He earned a starting spot on varsity his freshman year in football and basketball. His sophomore year in football he won his teams mvp for the season. He had 2 interceptions, 2 sacks, threw for a TD, ran for a TD, had over 400 all purpose yards and played about 5 different positions on both sides of the ball.
