What he loves most about sports is just competing and having fun. He’s always up for a challenge and would never back down win, lose or draw.
Avohn looks forward to making his family proud, but most importantly his grandma and mom. He told his grandmother he was going to make it one way or another so that’s what he’s been doing, working hard to get there.
Coming off two state championships This past basketball season loosing lots of players from the most recently years there was no confidence in the Sandy creek patriots to win again. While against all odds this did not stop Avohn he stayed confident in his squad. After a great season going 25-3 Avohn led his team through the playoffs averaging a double-double for all 5 games ending the season off scoring 22pts and 13 rebounds in the championship game against cedar grove.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
