One person who has really inspired Baileigh is Caitlin Clark. No, she doesn’t know her personally, however she is inspired by her fierce drive and resilience. She has repeatedly overcome adversity, from pushing through injuries and self-doubt during her college days, to using setbacks as fuel for greatness. It makes Baileigh want to strive for greatness no matter what. Watching Caitlin lift others and lead by example fills Baileigh with admiration and fuels her to be the best she can be.
There isn’t a specific moment that makes me the proudest. Baileigh’s athletic journey shines because she’s the kind of teammate who puts others first. She hustles for every point, every rebound, cheers louder for others than herself, and lifts spirits when the team needs it most. Watching her grow into a leader who values unity over spotlight fills me with pride each time she steps onto the court.
