God is her inspiration because she knows her strength comes from Him. As Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” and she knows Jesus is with her both on and off the field.
The moment in her journey that makes me proudest was the night she hit an in-park home run in a tied semifinal game. The joy on her face as she rounded third base is forever etched in my memory. As the youngest player on her team, she has become someone her coaches and teammates can depend on in clutch moments—and it fills me with pride to see her hard work pay off.
