Beau’s response -“ I love playing on a team and getting to be apart of all of that. I also like being outside and pushing myself to the limits to be as good as possible. I have big dreams to have a sports career!”
“My dad because he encourages me to be the best I can be. Even if he’s tired after a long day, he takes me outside to practice and he never misses a practice or game.” (-in Beau’s words!)
It was over 95 degrees and we had a tournament. We talked to Beau about mind over matter when it comes to the heat as a catcher. Beau spent the entire day in good spirits and encouraging his team in the heat. He pepped them up and kept things going. The other thing that makes me a happy mom is when another kid hits a homerun; Beau is always the first to scramble out of the dug out in celebration! He’s jumping and cheering on his buddy so hard, you’d think he hit the home run!
