What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Bella loves most about volleyball is the team aspect of it and working together. Bella loves the friendships that develop from the time spent together. She enjoys being competitive and driven. Volleyball is something she’s been around her whole life and it is something that is a big part of her journey. Bella says track is so much fun. It is such a bonding sport, you meet so many great athletes at meets. Bella really loved how it pushed her to get stronger and more confident.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Someone that inspires Bella is Harper Murray, not only with her love for Volleyball, but because of her struggles. Harper went through some tough times to find herself, worked hard on her mindset and always made volleyball a priority. Harper is a great example that an athletes identity isn’t just about what they play, that there is more to them than their athletic ability. She inspires Bella to work hard for what she wants to be successful in and to be true to herself on and off the court!

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Many moments have made us proud, but I believe one moment that stands out is when Bella was nominated and won the Archie Griffin award at her school. She was humbled to be able to be recognized with all the other student athletes in Ohio. This award represents leadership, a positive attitude, and academic discipline. It was an honor for Bella to receive! We are extremely proud of all her achievements on and off the court!
