My child loves not just playing the game but learning and understanding it. He loves how quick basketball is and how every game there’s chance of something great to happen. He loves the speed and intensity of every game and the excitement from his teammates and the crowd. Overall he loves being a part of it and being a role model to younger basketball players, to learn good sportsmanship and smart basketball players.
His grandpa inspires him. His grandpa has taught him so much to be a better person. He’s really close with his grandpa and his grandpa is battling prostate cancer. He wakes up everyday inspired to be the best he can be on and off the court, for him.
The proudest moment, is his freshman basketball ceremony. He was nominated MVP and lead scorer. The coach voted him MVP for his leadership and how much of a team player he was, always putting his teammates first. Every game I’m proud of what he accomplishes but thats the proudest i’ve been seeing someone else say the same thing I see!
