Ben loves making friends and building relationships through teamwork and competition in all of his sports. The karting world is very much a family, and he loves being a part of that. His favorite part of karting is the adrenaline of going fast, hunting karts ahead of him down, and making clean passes.
Ben's Grandpa Jeff is his biggest karting inspiration. He learned his love of racing from his Grandpa who still races to this day! He loves spending time with him especially at the track where he coaches him on his driving lines and how to go fast!
Ben has had a lot of great moments in soccer, football, and racing. The one that stands out is a painful memory of a bad crash where he flipped his kart while in a qualifying session. We didn't know it at the time, but he had a fractured growth plate in his knee from this. Ben actually got back in the kart a couple hours later and raced in the feature race. We're proud of his resilience, and it's all due to his love of the sport!
