He’s inspired by Blake Corum and his relentless work ethic. Watching how hard Corum works to be his best motivates him to do the same. With his sights set on making it to the NHL, he looks up to Corum as a role model who shows what dedication and determination can achieve.
My proudest moment as a mom was when he helped his team win the USA vs. Canada tournament. The rink was packed and the energy was electric. It all came down to a shootout. The crowd was chanting his name, and he stood on his head, making incredible saves. When they won and his teammates rushed him, the look on his face was something I’ll never forget. He gave everything he had for multiple games and sealed the tournament with a clutch win for USA!
