What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Benjamin loves the speed, discipline, and constant challenge of skating. He enjoys pushing his limits and feeling the reward of every hard-earned improvement. What he loves most is the joy of racing, being part of a team, and representing his club and community with pride.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Benji is inspired by his older brothers and his parents, who never stop believing in him. Their love and example keep him motivated. He’s also inspired by athletes who overcome adversity, because he knows what it means to fight for a dream that others once thought impossible.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One moment that makes us proudest was after Benjamin broke both arms and was off the track for months. In tears, he looked at me and said, “It seems impossible, Mom, but I’ll make it. I’ve worked too hard.” He returned stronger, knowing that with faith and perseverance, all things are possible. That spirit defines him.
