My biggest soccer inspiration is Messi (of course)! He has had to work really hard to get where he is today and is an amazing player. He makes me want to continue to work harder every day and someday, hopefully, play professional soccer like him!
This year I decided to step away from the team that I've always played with to try out for a more competitive team. It was a hard choice because I loved my friends and team and it was a scary change to make. I worked really hard, putting in extra practice time any chance that I could, and made the Director's Academy U11 team with the club and coach that I really wanted to play for! I'm proud of my hard work and can't wait to see where it takes me this year.
