WINNING! Bennett loves learning new wrestling moves and perfecting them. The self discipline and independence of wrestling makes the big wins so satisfying. He enjoys playing for multiple baseball teams and playing many positions but pitcher and catcher are his favorites. Getting a big tackle and hearing his name over the speakers is always exciting! Celebrating wins with his teams, big tournaments, and state wrestling are his favorite moments.
Bennett is inspired by his dad who coaches him in wrestling and baseball. He looks forward to Dad coming home after work each day and spending hours together working on getting better. His dad pushes him the hardest to be the best that he can be while having fun doing it. Bennett looks up to many professional athletes but he spends the most time following Bo Bassett and watching his wrestling videos to learn new moves and tips.
The proudest moment of Bennetts athletic journey would be taking 2nd place at the WWF State Championships 2025. He was only in his 2nd year of wrestling and it was his 2nd time qualifying for state. This year he was so determined all year and it really paid off. He won all of his matches at regionals for 1st and then won his first three at state but fell short in the 4th and landed 2nd place. Seeing his tears of joy winning his 3rd match in a row at state was so gratifying.
