What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What he loves most about playing sports is the joy of competition, the thrill of pushing himself to improve, and the friendships he built with teammates along the way. Sports gives him a sense of purpose and discipline, and he loves the feeling of working hard toward a goal whether it’s winning a game, setting a new personal best, or just knowing he gave it his all. Being part of a team, learning from coaches, and growing both mentally and physically is what keeps him passionate about it all.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His trainer Farlando, he’s been a true role model and source of inspiration. He doesn’t just focus on wins or stats he teaches effort, attitude, and accountability. He sees potential even when my son doubts himself and wants to give up. He checks in not just on athletic progress, but in school, life, and his mindset. Because of him my son is a better young man, on and off the field. That kind of impact goes far beyond the game. We can’t thank him enough for all he’s done over the years!

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Seeing my son come back stronger than ever after his injury. Watching him go through the pain, frustration, and the long recovery process, yet never giving up was nothing short of inspiring. He stayed focused, worked hard and showed a level of maturity and determination beyond his years. When he finally stepped back on the field, not only did he play with the same heart and talent, but with even more drive and confidence. That moment reminded me that true strength that he has as a 9 year old boy
