The relationships built throughout each of the sports and the opportunities to get to know so many different people from teammates, opponents, and coaches of all the teams I’ve been a part of or played against. I’m fierce and love the adrenaline from games and meets.
My parents. They have shown me and always taught me hard work is a choice, attitude is a choice, discipline is a choice, doing extra is a choice in everything I do. I started at a young age playing sports and wanted to be better, so I made those choices and it’s paying off. They show up, in the stands and along the fence, to watch me do what I love!
Bentley gave up pitching a couple years ago because at the time we had good pitchers. So she’s been the catcher. This softball season we were down to one pitcher. During a game, our new young coaches decided to throw Bentley back in as the pitcher to finish the game. Literally, had not pitched for 2 years. She pitched and had 2 strikeouts, got the third out and we won! So proud of the way she stepped in and helped the team win!
