Bilal loves the competition and challenge, on and off the court. He enjoys learning new skills to better himself and his teammates to get to the next level.
Bilal is inspired by Kevin Durant. Durant is Bilal's favorite player. He believes Kevin is very focused on the court and doesn't allow anyone to get to him. Bilal also loves how Durant shows love to his mother after his games.
One of my proudest moments of Bilal was in Chicago, ILL in his AAU tournament earlier this year. He was playing one of his best game. He looked over at me on the side line and knew something was off. He came over and asked if I was okay. I told him I had to drive back to Syracuse, NY because his older brother was coughing up blood. He grabbed his stuff and was ready to leave with me for his brother's sake. He put family over his game with no hesitation. I was extremely proud of him.
