Blaze is a dynamic and well-rounded athlete who exemplifies drive and grit while playing multiple sports. What he loves most about playing sports is the camaraderie that’s cultivated amongst he and his teammates. Blaze also thrives on the excitement of competition. His competitive nature motivates him to give his absolute best effort while still having the time of his life.
Blaze is inspired by his parents, cousin and PawPaw. Each of them play an important role in his life. His parents teach him the value of hard work and determination never allowing him to give up on his commitments. His cousin focuses on his athletic skills and mental toughness, always pushing him to be his best despite the odds. His PawPaw encourages him with wisdom and unwavering support. They all make up his strong backbone of support, pushing him to be his best, both on and off the field.
There isn’t just one moment that makes me most proud of Blaze, it’s the combination of all the moments throughout his athletic journey so far. His consistent display of humility and leadership has been a joy to watch. Even when the spotlight could be on him, he goes out of his way to make sure his teammates have a chance to shine. He’s always lifting others up, celebrating their successes, and putting the team first. That’s the kind of athlete and person Blaze is on and off the field/court.
