Brandon loves practicing his skills so that he can improve and contribute more to his team. He also loves to play with his friends and cheers everyone on to perform their best.
Brandon is most inspired by Pete Crow-Armstrong. PCA has challenged Brandon to work on his outfielding skills, and to enjoy the innings that his coach rotates him through the outfield. Brandon has had some amazing catches in the outfield, and when someone asks him about it, he just says - "It's what PCA would have done."
I am so proud when Brandon identifies a weakness in himself and asks for help. He is not afraid to ask his coach, or his private trainer to help him get better. We were away at a tournament once, and he was struggling at the plate. He asked to face time is private trainer to ask for help on his form, so that he could push through the slump.
