Thank you for generously supporting Brayden in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
Brayden loves the teamwork, the competition, and the chance to grow every time he steps on the field. He thrives under pressure, loves the strategy of the game, and finds pure joy in every swing, slide, and high-five with his teammates.
Brayden is inspired by his mom, who taught him how to throw his first ball and always reminds him to play with heart, not just skill. On the field, he looks up to players who hustle hard, lead with kindness, and never give up, even when the game gets tough. Their drive and attitude push him to be better every day, not just as an athlete but as a person.
One of my proudest moments was watching Brayden stay strong after breaking four bones and shattering his sinuses. Despite the pain and uncertainty, he kept his head up, stayed positive, and worked hard to heal—making it back on the field in just six weeks with no surgery. His resilience and determination showed me just how tough and driven he truly is, and I’ll never forget the pride I felt seeing him doing what he loves again.
