What I love most about playing sports is the way it brings people together. Whether it’s winning a big game or pushing through a tough practice, there’s something powerful about being part of a team that works hard and supports each other. Sports also help me stay active, challenge myself, and grow stronger physically and mentally. Every game teaches me something new, not just about the sport, but about life like how to stay focused, handle pressure, and keep going even when things get tough.
The person who inspires me the most on and off the field is my single mother. She’s the strongest person I know. No matter how hard things get, she never gives up. She works hard every day to support me and still finds time to show up for my games, cheer me on, and help me stay focused. Her dedication, love, and sacrifices push me to be my best not just as an athlete, but as a person. She's my biggest fan, my role model, and the reason I believe in myself.
One of the proudest moments in my son's athletic journey was when he showed true sportsmanship during a tough game. His team was losing, and emotions were running high, but instead of getting frustrated, he encouraged his teammates, kept a positive attitude, and even helped an opposing player up after a hard play. In that moment, I realized it wasn’t just about skill or winning it was about character. Seeing him grow into a kind, respectful, and resilient young athlete made me proud.
