What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

She likes competing against the best. It motivates her to work harder. Her teammates and coaches also motivate her to be the best in everything she does. She lives for competition. She also loves making her family proud. She is the type of kid that makes everyone around her better. A leader by example.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

I believe her family, coaches and teammates inspire her to be the exceptional athlete she is. Most of all she inspires everyone around her. She has that ability.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

This past year as a freshman I could not be prouder. She was the only freshman that made varsity volleyball, softball and track for her school. She was the Districts Newcomer of the Year for volleyball, All District Offensive MVP for softball and the only female for the District to advance to Regionals for track in 2 events. She made history as a freshman for her high school.
