He loves the teamwork and the competition. He also enjoys challenging himself and pushing his limits, with the mindset that nothing is going to stop him.
He says his dad inspires him. Growing up, his dad was passionate about soccer and also wrestled. Now that rugby and wrestling have become a big part of their lives, they bond over passing the ball in the backyard, working on rucks, and wrestling together.
“One moment I’m most proud of as an athlete is winning my first defensive ruck,” Breckin exclaims. “It was a big milestone for me, especially because I’ve applied lessons from wrestling to improve my technique.”
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
