Playing soccer gives Briana the ability to play against very challenging competition, and that is what she loves most about it. The excitement if a close game against a rival, the rush of scoring a goal, or making a goal line save really gets the adrenaline pumping. Its hard to chose one thing to love the most about such a amazing sport but the competition really makes it a different and more exciting experience.
Her father, who has been teaching her soccer since she could walk, is her biggest inspiration. He has been making sacrifices to give her the best opportunity to succeed. He would spend endless hours at the feild with her just to perfect her skills. He worked overtime to be able to pay for cup soccer and made it to every single one of her games, being her biggest supporter in the stands.
A big moment that impacted her journey the most was getting the opportunity to play on her clubs women's first team. Just getting the opportunity to play against better players who will make her better is something people dream about. It was a great feeling to know that her coaches thought she was good enough to play on the team, it makes me proud that her hard work is paying off.
