Being able to share the gospel & help those who can’t. He’s very selfless & willing to be a big brother to all. He supports both sides & competes hard to get better! He gets to lead his team & takes the pressure of those around him who fall short. He loves hitting home runs & making awesome back hands at third base & throwing people out. Baseball runs in his blood & he loves it!
Jesus inspires him to be the best person he can be to love his neighbor win or lose. He really is inspired by Aaron judge who also is an outspoken Christian & Derek curiel who plays for LSU. They lead by example & Briggs wants to help the less fortunate & be a light to the world just like those who inspire him. He also is inspired & guided by his father & mother!
When we were playing a scrimmage during 8U we had a kid who got emotional from coming up short batting & Briggs got down on one knee to pray for him & help lift his spirits. He is selfless & shows it on & off the field. We went on church retreat & did “hams for fams” & his dad prayed over one family& his dad felt he left some stuff that could of been said but Briggs is such a competitor that he asked to pray over the next family Whois less fortunate so he could try it & say the things he felt.
