Competition, challenge and pushing to be better, team is like family, working hard toward achieving a goal to maybe get or maybe have to work even harder if they fall short. Feeling of accomplishment. Feeling of fulfillment. Always finishing what you start. Always lead with love.
My friend and team mate Ashlynn. It's weird because we are the same age but it's true. She's such an amazing player but even more she is an amazing person. She's so humble about everything she does. Humble about who she is. She makes me laugh and we have a ton of fun together on and off the field. She always makes me feel like I belong. She just makes my heart warm and I love being her friend and teammate. Even when I'm not playing baseball. She's always cheering me on :)
Britton played baseball since she was 4. Many years the only girl. At 11 Coaches of the All Star team did not take her on the squad when her votes were as high as the ones they did and she had the stats to prove it. She had always been on the All Star Teams. She vowed to work even harder in the the off season and the following spring held the 2nd highest batting average in the league. They again passed her up. She tried out for a travel team out of town and made it. The only girl.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
