I love the positive atmosphere with No negativity. I love the very supportive environment that has taught me self control and given me confidence to get through lifes struggles.
My Sensei, Chris Smeltzer, inspires me by training hard, setting a great example of how to reach my goals. He is very supportive of his students both in the Dojo and outside of it in their other extracurricular activities. We can always count on Sensei Chris to be in our corner supporting what we do. He is always Positive and spreads that positive Energy everywhere he goes! Beyond what Sensei Chris does my family also shows me how to work hard and stay positive to reach my goals.
The proudest moments in my Karate career are 1, reaching my goal of getting my Black belt after 8 years of training hard. 2, is realizing I don't need to win a metal to be a winner, I just have to make sure I do my best and always strive to be better!
