Brooke Raymond loves the sense of camaraderie that comes from being part of a team, where strong bonds are built through shared goals and experiences. She is passionate about continuously improving and mastering the skills required to succeed, finding joy in the hard work and discipline it takes to grow as an athlete. Most of all, she thrives in the competitive environment of the sport, where she can challenge herself, push her limits, and give her all for the team.
Her dad, absolutely. He’s her biggest supporter—coaching her, encouraging her, and always making sure she’s in the right headspace. He helps her recognize when adjustments are needed and inspires her to reflect and grow. Whether it’s praising her for making the right decisions or helping her navigate through tough moments, his guidance means everything. Off the field, he’s just as involved—providing training, pushing her to improve, and always believing in her potential.
One of the proudest moments in her athletic career came in 8th grade when she decided, on her own, to try out for the boys’ baseball team. It wasn’t something we encouraged—she brought the idea to us, determined to pursue it. She approached the coaches, followed up persistently, and even contacted the school district to confirm there were no rules against her trying out. She became the first girl in her school’s history to make the team.
