What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Brooklyn loves being part of a team where everyone is passionate about the sport. Her teammates have become like family, and she enjoys the bond they've formed. She finds joy in helping them and feels a sense of belonging when they support her too. Having fun is a big part of the experience, and she cherishes the memories they've made. Being part of a team that cares about each other has deepened her love for the sport.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Brooklyn's brother in law, Oscar Gomez, and her sister, Jazmin Martinez, are her biggest inspirations. They truly understand her, and their support has a huge impact on her life. Her brother in law's guidance and her sister's encouragement give her the confidence to tackle challenges and celebrate her wins. They believe in her, and that makes all the difference. With them by her side, Brooklyn feels unstoppable, knowing she's got people who genuinely care about her success. Both influence her.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

On November 2024 had her 1st injury while playing basketball, went through therapy. While being injured still went to all her teams games, supported them when she felt she would never be the same used that fear of falling to comeback stronger. From saying i don’t think im playing again to not only overcoming but playing better than ever she never gave up to me that’s amazing!
