You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
Brooklyn is dedicated, determined, tough, hardworking, always brings a positive attitude, and gives 100% all the time. No matter the circumstance, she is there to work hard not complain. She is an individual athlete as well as a team athlete, and is an all around hype girl. She loves learning from her coaches and isn't afraid to ask questions. She loves the grit and challenge, and there is no better feeling than seeing all her hard work lead to success.
For Brooklyn, her coaches and parents are her inspiration both on and off the field. Her coaches have taught her not only skills and techniques, but how to keep pushing when you want to give up. Her parents are at every game/match cheering her on and encouraging her, helping her to succeed and step outside of her comfort zone. Brooklyn's inspiration also comes from her heavenly Father who she prays to for strength and guidance.
One of Brooklyn's football coaches convinced her to try out for wrestling last year. Initially Brooklyn didn't have any interest, but she decided to give it a try. She started wrestling for her middle school and excelled at it and won Districts. She then was recruited to join club wrestling, which lead her to compete at State then Nationals. While wrestling the top girl in the Nation, her competitor told her she is the best competition she has ever faced. I'm so proud she decided to go for it!
