I love water polo because it’s the perfect mix of strength, strategy, and teamwork. The sport challenges every muscle while demanding quick thinking and precise coordination. I enjoy the fast-paced action, the thrill of scoring goals, and the bond built with teammates in the pool. It’s not just a sport but a test of endurance and determination, pushing me to be faster, tougher, and smarter every game. Water polo gives me purpose, energy, and pure joy.
Ricky Barnes inspires me on the field—he’s my best friend, our team’s goalie, and one of the top goalies in the nation. We’re always trying to one-up each other, constantly competing and sometimes even fighting like brothers, but that’s what makes us better. His drive, focus, and intensity push me to work harder every day. Ricky never backs down and always brings his best, and having him by my side motivates me to do the same.
A moment from my athletic career that makes me proud is playing internationally in Greece. Competing against top talent from around the world was a huge learning experience that pushed me out of my comfort zone. I grew a lot as a player, gained new skills, and learned how to adapt to different styles of play. Even better—we won a lot. Representing on an international level and coming out successful made me realize how far I’ve come and how far I still want to go.
