Join the CompetitionBryce Waters loves football for the brotherhood and strong relationships he builds with his teammates. He thrives on the competition, which pushes him to grow and improve constantly. The sport offers him a unique blend of camaraderie and personal development that he finds incredibly fulfilling.
Bryce Waters draws inspiration from several key figures in his life. Fr. Andrew Heyes inspires him with his compassion and wisdom, providing a moral compass and guidance. Coach Valdez Matthews is a source of motivation due to his leadership and grit, teaching Bryce the importance of resilience and determination. Lastly, Bryce's parents inspire him with their perseverance and work ethic, showing him the value of hard work and dedication both on and off the field.
My proudest moment in Bryce's athletic journey has been the college recruitment process. Watching his face fill with joy as he realizes that all of his hard work and dedication have led him to the next level is incredibly rewarding. Bryce has faced numerous obstacles since he started playing football at 7. When he committed to UNLV in June, he told me he felt like he was in a movie, because things like this don't happen in real life.
