His dad has played a big part in making him who he is today. We come from a small town and it’s easily overlooked and very few athletes hardly ever follow their dreams when they graduate high school. His dad pushes him to do better and become better so he’s able to hopefully one day pick up a great scholarship to continue doing the sport he loves so much. We have always told him if he wants it has to put his whole heart and soul into it and he has.
I’m just happy for him to be able to do something that he loves so much. Not many kids get the chance to play sports and join travel teams and travel different places. I’m glad I have the opportunity to let him to that. He gives it everything he has and that’s all I ask of him. The biggest thing is his travel career is going to Indiana and starting from the bottom and winning the whole tournament.
