Brynlee loves being more than just part of a team - she loves being part of a lacrosse family. The bonds she builds, whether it’s with her teammates or with girls she meets during training sessions from other teams, mean so much to her. She thrives in the connections and camaraderie that come with the game. And of course, she loves dominating in goal and playing a key role in helping her team reach their goals on the field.
Off the field, my biggest inspiration is my mom. Her incredible work ethic has shown me what it really takes to achieve my goals. She’s the perfect example of dedication and perseverance. On the field, I look up to my goal coach, Sydney Manning from Penn State. She pushes me to train to my fullest potential, and I love following her college lacrosse journey. Her drive and commitment have helped her accomplish amazing things, and I hope to one day be just as strong and successful as she is.
It’s not just one single moment that makes me proud - it’s who she is. Her ability to overcome adversity, work hard, and rise above challenges continually inspires me. She’s always open to trying new things, takes feedback seriously, and confidently advocates for herself as an athlete. One of the things I admire most is her courage to show up to events alone and walk away with a whole new group of friends. That confidence, resilience, and kindness truly set her apart.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
