Jessica Campbell is her biggest role model on and off the ice. Everything she has done for woman in sports and the way she carries herself is something that inspires Brynn everyday. She quoted that if she could be half the person Jessica has become she would be super proud of herself. She also loved watching Patrice Bergeron since he carried himself in such a humble way and showed such amazing quality of leadership.
During her first year of U15 hockey Brynn was told by multiple people that girls don’t belong in male sports and to go play on a girls team, even though there was no elite local girls teams at the time. She persevered, earned the respect from her coaches and teammates and had a very successful season. Which has turned into an opportunity now to go play AAA hockey in Wilcox with the Hounds and I am super proud of the person she had become.
